World Water Day 2013

March 19, 2013
World Water Day is coming up this Friday, March 22nd. What many people on Google+ will be doing is posting pictures of dirty water (specifically drinking water) with the hashtag #worldwaterday2013 to raise awareness for the 780 million people that do not have access to clean water — and what we can do together to solve the water crisis.

I would encourage you to do the same, on any and all social media networks you frequent.  Let's make this trend, not only on Google+ but on Facebook, Twitter, and everywhere else we can!

See how creative you can be, drinking dirty cups of water around the water fountain at work or filling up a pot of dirty water to cook dinner with.  Show what it would be like if dirty drinking water were a normal way of life for you, to shed light on what it is like for some.

Don't forget to ask your friends to help, and to use the tag #worldwaterday2013  on March 22.
